| | The Just William Society came into being at the 1995 Annual William Meeting. Its purpose is to celebrate Richmal Crompton's William books as well as other aspects of her life and works. | | | A magazine was started, and is published twice a year, with articles, news, illustrations, puzzles, and non-William stories by Richmal Crompton. | | | The Society also publishes 'William' radio plays. | | | At the twentieth William Meeting in April 2002 it was decided we needed our own web site. In the future we hope to expand it considerably but for the moment it is still under construction. | | In the meantime there is some information on the Society, on the William Meeting, and on specialist sources for Richmal Crompton books. You can also contact us at our e-mail address: info@justwilliamsociety.co.uk. |
